SnapRepair ("we", "our", "the app") helps you identify broken parts and get DIY repair instructions. We take your privacy seriously and keep data collection to the minimum needed to deliver the service.

What we do NOT collect

Third-party services we use

How we store and protect data

Scan data, device IDs, and purchase records are stored encrypted-at-rest in MongoDB on cloud infrastructure (currently Emergent / AWS). Transport is TLS-encrypted. Subscription receipts are verified server-side with Apple and Google directly.

How long we keep data

Your rights

You can delete all your data at any time directly in the app — open Profile → Clear all history. To delete the subscription record as well, contact us at support@snaprepair.app with the device identifier visible in Profile. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations: you may request a copy, correction, or deletion of any data we hold about your device.

Children's privacy

SnapRepair is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the associated data.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where possible, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
